February 19th, 1958 K.R.P." vii, 268; v, 352 pp. Two volumes, bound in publisher's black cloth with gilt lettering; lacking the dust jackets. Very Good with light staining to cloth, minor soiling to text block edges; contents lightly tanned.

An oft-cited defense of liberalism called "one of the great books of the century" by The Times of London. Warmly inscribed to Diana Spearman (1905-1991) a British conservative activist and writer.
