London: Sidgwick & Jackson, Ltd. Second impression. F. E. HEWITT'S ANNOTATED COPY. 8vo. Red cloth, paper label to spine. Faded and tatty boards, label chipped, extremities worn. Offsetting to endpapers, price to ffep, spare title label to rear fep. "F. E. Hewitt/ Jan/ 22" to ffep, playbill for Trinity Wesley Guild's Dramatic Reading on Thursday, Feb. 2nd, 1922 tipped in at character page. Extensive stage notes and scoring throughout. A good copy with an interesting past life. While evidently a committed Cromwell, F.E. Hewitt doesn't appear to have moved beyond amateur theatricals.
