'Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All' is a novel about the life of the ninety-nine year old Lucy Marsden, the widow of Captain William Marsden. They married when she was 15 and he was 50. The novel explores the racial issues of the American South. Written by Allan Gurganus, an American novelist who is best known for this work. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart.
