Published simultaneously in Canada by Saunders of Toronto. Hardcover Book in Near Fine Condition, without Jacket. Orange cloth with brown titles is very clean and unmarked, no blemishes, no wear to edges or corners, faint wrinkling of spine head and heel cloth. Sewn binding is tight, solid and square. Page edges clean. Internals as new. Mari Sandoz, 1886-1966, was a prolific Nebraskan novelist, biographer and teacher who wrote about pioneer life and the high plains. Many of the selections in this volume are from her High Plains Series. 319 pp with bibliography. 5.5 x 8.25 inches. 1965, Hastings House, New York.
