Dramtically uncut edges, and a patina that is impossible to describe. xxviii. 480 pages ; 24mo. Former owner (contemporary) stamp dimly on board and at top of title page, sepia ink signature on front endpaper- adds character. Uneven stains to boards (each with a story), some wear and chipping at right hinge, small chip at head. Inner hinges starting. The whole of the landmark Pope translation (originally in 4 volumes) in one. Ships from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
