(45 full-page in color) from works and many documentary photographs. Large 4to. Cloth (spine shaken and reglued), d.j. Florence (Il Torchio) 1981. (I Maestri della Pittura Italiana dell'Ottocento). Borrani (1832-1905) worked for most of his life in Florence. Along with Telemaco Signorini and others, he became an important Italian plein-air painter, with an appealing style and sense of color.
