About This Item
This is a special association copy, inscribed to Eden Ross Lipson, an editor at the New York Times Book Review for 31 years, 21 of them as children's books editor. On the title page, and in a separate enclosed letter (also signed), Spires thanks Ross for the all the wonderful books you have sent my way to review. Eden Ross Lipson died of pancreatic cancer in 2009. In addition to poetry, Spires has written a number of children's books. Protected in a Brodart cover.
