London: Methuen & Co, 1898. Hardcover; large 8vo/small 4to; 2 volumes. First edition. Blue cloth with gilt titles and silver illustrations on front. Rubbed corners and head/tail, fraying gently. Some tears in headcap. Some spotting on volume two's boards. Bright and clean interiors, many illustrations. Tissue guard of volume one's frontispice is slightly ripped. One signature, the final, from volume 2 is loose and shaken. Gilt on top. Hinges somewhat loose. Else VG/--. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
