Good with no dust jacket. 1946. First Edition. Hardcover. Montgomery's account of the invasion of Europe and the defeat of Hitler in Europe. Many color folding maps. 279pp. Contents are fine and clean save owner's names on fep. The binding shows wear -- spine is faded and there is minor chipping of the paper covered boards. Rear outer hinge has 2" split a top which has been repaired but still looks a bit fragile. Bottom edge of back cover worn through. ; 8vo .
