About This Item
Reviews
At the outset of the book, Noddy is proud that he can make up songs - usually about how clever he is. One day his head swells up because he is vain and in vain he tries to put on his hat. It's just too small for his head. What a pity! Big-Ears is cross with him and advises him to go to school. At school Noddy finds that he is not as clever as he thought and is at the bottom of the class. Feeling ashamed and humble, he works hard and learns many things. At the school concert, he even sings a song about his teacher and gets a prize! His head is soon the right size and his hat fits. Noddy is such a dear little fellow, isn't he?
