About This Item
Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott; (1938). First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Near fine in a very good dust jacket. The copper colored cloth is bright, with just a little shelfwear along the bottom edge. The pages are slightly tanned. The jacket has some small chips at the corners, some edgewear and rubbing, and a few closed tears; $4.00 price is present on front flap. In all, a nice example of the author's first book, a mixture of philosophy, design and social engineering. Includes map endpapers, appendices and two foldout tables at rear with the glassine separator still between them. The rear hinge is slightly separated at the foldouts, but the binding is still tight. No names or other markings in the book.
