About This Item
New York: Harper & Row, 1970. First Edition hardback. In original unclipped dust jacket which shows price as $4.95, and has 1070 on the inside front flap. To front of dust jacket there is the silver Caldecott Honor Book medal. The dust wrapper has minor edge-wear, and an almost invisible repair to right edge. There are seven titles listed on the back flap, as per Hanrahan A75. Book itself is cream linen, and clean, with colour illustration to front. Inside, the unpaginated book is in great condition, with a neat inscription to front pastedown. Charming illustrations and scant text. 285 x 220 mm (11¼ x 8¾ inches).
