About This Item
First Edition Stated . Hard Back. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. 6" x 9 1/2. 363 Pages with an eleven page Index. The boards show light wear.. There are no marks or stamps and the interior text pages are tight, white, and also free of marks except for underlining in last chapter of book. New Mexico had achieved half a century of statehood and 422 years of association with people of European heritage. It thus shares with Arizona and Florida, also first touched by the Spaniards, the honor of being the oldest region, historically, in the present continental United States. New Mexico exhibits three cultures, in unique contrast and blending --- Indian, Spanish, and Anglo-American.
