William Heinemann Ltd, 1924. Hardcover. Good. 1924. Second Impression. 297 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and minor foxing to endpapers. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Pencil inscription to front endpaper and rear pastedown. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy tanning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Mild tearing to tail of spine.
Synopsis
New Arabian Nights by Robert Louis Stevenson, first published in 1882, is a collection of short stories previously published in magazines between 1877 and 1880. The collection contains Stevenson's first published fiction, and a few of the stories are considered by some critics to be his best work, as well as pioneering works in the English short story tradition.
