Amsterdam & Leiden: Gerrit de Groot en Zoon and Samuel en Johannes Luchtmans, 1771. First edition, 4to, pp. [6], iv, [10], 1062; title page printed in red and black, text in triple column, full contemporary calf, gilt-decorated spine, red morocco label; a very good, sound copy. David van Hoogstraten (1658-1724) was a doctor, a poet, and a linguist who published a number of works in the field of Dutch linguistics. In 1704 he published a Latin-Dutch dictionary. The work is here under the editorship of H. Verheyk. Not in Vancil, Zaunmuller or OCLC.
