Philadelphia: Henry Perkins, 1835, 1835, 36, 39. Hardcover. Acceptable. Fair/good 3 BOOK SET of hardcovers (leather covered with gilt decoration). ORIGINAL 1835, 36', and 39' PRINTINGS. VOLUMES 1 (1835),2 (1836), AND 4 (1839). 3 BOOKS. FULL OF BEAUTIFUL STEEL ENGRAVINGS. Text unmarked. Pages foxed. Gilt page edges. Covers show heavy edge wear with rubbing/scuffing and bumped corners. Spines show heavy scuffing and edge wear. Front hinge cracked in volume 1 but binding still intact. Volume 1 in poorest condition of the 3. Volumes 2 and 4 are in good condition with hinges and bindings still tight although volume 2 shows more cover scuffing. Volume 4 shows less scuffing than other volumes and also less foxing spots. Most tissues guarding steel engravings still present.; 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed! Ships same or next business day!
