Publisher's black topstain. The head of the spine is very mildly bumped, and there is a previous owner's gift inscription on the front free endpaper. In a dust jacket with moderate toning and a handful of open and closed tears at the edges, the largest measuring 2cm. "The poetry of life and land, of destructions and renewals... a truly exceptional first novel"
