Hardcover. Good. Peaks and valleys. Disbound, though leather boards and spine and gilt all intact and moderately edgeworn. ix, 498 + Table of Contents. Illustrated with 22 tissue guarded engravings, gravures, and other plates. Numerous figures in text. Full leather with elaborate blindstamped "N" with armorial device in red and gilt to the front board which also has decorative ruling. Rear board in olive green with smaller version of the front board's decoration. Heavy, extra-illustrated.
