London: Jonathan Cape, 1968. First edition, first printing. Published by Jonathan Cape in London, 1968. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper is toned at the spine with some general shelf wear. It has been neatly price clipped at all four corners, but retains the price of 25s.. The boards are sweetly bound in the publisher's purple cloth, free from chips and marks. The text blocks are toned in places, but free from foxing. This copy is free from previous owner's ink and is in very good (or better) condition. A presentable copy. The autobiography of British gay icon Quentin Crisp, adapted into a 1975 movie starring John Hurt.
