Publisher's original yellow cloth, lettered in black on the spine and with butterflies in black on the front cover, color pictorial dust jacket, pictorial black endpapers, lg 8vo (9.6 x 7.5 inches). Presents the butterflies of Slovenia, a nation-state on the Adriatic Sea, bordering Italy to the west, Austria to the north. The text is in Slovak with Latin names used throughout. No ownership marks. Rare work.
