Presumed first edition, 1927, hardcover with gilt and black stamped red cloth boards in dust jacket, octavo, 341pp., illustrated in color and b&w. Book VG+ with mild wear to spine ends, binding tight, previous owner's plate to front pastedown, otherwise text clean and unmarked with handsome gilt to top edge of text block. DJ VG with rubbing and general soil, edgewear that includes some small tears, hole in spine, now in archival mylar wrap.
