NY: Dodd, Mead & Company. VG+. 1907. 1st American Edition. Hardcover. First U.S. edition, first printing with "Published October 1907" on th e copyright page. Bound in green cloth with gold lettering and decorat ions and a small color plate illustration tipped onto the front board. Decorated endpapers, color frontis and three additional color plates by Charlotte Weber Ditzler. Page border decoartions by Theodore B. Hap good. 5 1/4" x 9", 289 pages. A VG+ copy of the author's first publish ed novel. This book was released in 1915 in the UK under the title "Th e Chronicles of the Imp". The book has tiny rub marks to the corners a nd spine tips. The corners also have small bumps. The rear board has a small rub spot. The cloth covers are otherwise clean and the gold let tering and decorations are bright. Lightly tanned endpapers else conte nts are clean and unmarked. .
