B & W and Color; 8 x 10 1/2; xiv, 230 pages; AUTHOR SIGNED ON HALF TITLE PAGE. Hard cover has light bumping, rubbing, sunning. Rust colored boards with gold lettering on spine. First couple of pages have shallow crease in lower corner. DJ has light rubbing/scuffing, bumping, shelfwear; plus some tears and a missing 3/4 x 1.1/2" piece at top of back, and slits; in a mylar cover. Pages are clean and tight, appears as if unused. Lavishly illustrated with dozens of b/w drawings and color photographs. "...introduces the nonverbal Language of Equus, which humans can use to communicate effectively with their horses. He outlines the world's first 'Dictionary of Equus', showing dozens of gestural statements made by horses and people and how they combine to create a true interspecies dialogue".
