The Wetzlar family were successful silversmiths, forced to give up their livelihood and flee Germany in 1938. Contemporary photographs and drawings demonstrate the range of their output, mainly silverware items for well-to-do middle-class households including tableware such as coffee and tea services, sets of cups and cutlery, with several previously unpublished works. Text in English and German.
