Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages have light tanning. Rough-cut edges. Binding is firm. Thumb-marking present throughout. Cracking to front hinge, causing board to be loose. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with slight corner bumping. Faint black markings. Moderate sunning to spine and edges, with mild crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
