Scrimshaw Press, 1972. Hardcover. Very good/Good. Dust jacket is shelf worn and slightly rubbed. Jacket is also slightly tanned. The cover is in good condition apart from some slight handling wear. Binding is tight and inside is clean and unmarked.

Completely unmarked and tight. Dust jacket with chips to the corners and spine ends. Evenly and lightly soiled. Original price of $4.50 to the front flap. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

There is a Two Countinents book shop label affixed to the front flap of the dust jacket, $8.95 price at bottom. Dust jacket shows wear and light sunning. A 2" sepration at top of back flap and small edge tears.

The dust jacket has clipping and tears particularly along the top and a inch and half off bottom of spine but is now mylar protected. Pricing ($4.50) is still found on the jacket. "From Author to the Reader," a 2-page pamphlet is tipped in back of first page and another from the The Dorr Foundation across from title page. From jacket: Nell Dorr's pictures are memorably powerful in their sometimes awesome stillness and in their contained love of childhood, of nature and its flowers and seasons.

In the introductory text titled "From The Author To The Reader" Dorr states, "A little book can travel far - just as easily as a letter. Perhaps you will send me a letter in return and we will know each other better."
