About This Item
Philadelphia and New York: Lea Brothers & Co. / Lea & Febiger, 1907. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Quartos. Variously paginated. Each volume indexed. Hardcovers bound in original red cloth. The bindings shows rubbing and wear and some of the spines and covers have scuff marks. Volume III has some damp spots on the spine and on the front cover, and the front inner hinge is starting to crack. Volume IV has some scuffing on the spine. The title page to Volume VII has a crease at the bottom corner. Otherwise the inner hinges are secure and the text blocks are sound. Illustrated throughout. Volumes I-III are dated 1907. Volume IV-V are dated 1908. Volume VII is dated 1909, and Volume VII is dated 1910. Extra shipping may be required; the is set weighs over 36 pounds.
