Protected dustjacket is bright, nicks and chips to edges. Book is firm in binding, haunted house illustrated endpapers, previous owner's book plate to front paste down, age toning to interior. Wartime reprint with moderately tanned paper. Small remnant tape on front and rear flap. Cover art by Pelagie Doane. Black and white frontispiece drawing. White spine dust jacket is in beautiful condition with just a touch of wear at edges. Front flap lists others in the series to "The Rainbow Riddle" (17 titles) . Back flap lists Nancy Drew books to "The Ghost of Blackwood Hall" (26 titles) . Back cover lists eight titles in the Cherry Ames series. Free of any markings, not ex-library. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 249 pages .
