Publisher's full gray cloth, brown lettering on spine and cover, brown embossed decoration on cover. Profusely illustrated with 400 illustrations, most full-page,many in color, and several tipped-in. Ludwig Goldscheider (1896 1973) was an Austrian-British publisher, art historian, poet and translator who is known for founding the world-renowned Phaidon Press.. The volume is in very good condition, and all of the the plates are clean and bright. The unclipped dust jacket is chipped and moderately worn with a small closed tear on the front panel. VERY GOOD/GOOD.. Color Plates. 4to 11" - 13" tall. 263 pp .
