About This Item

West Palm Beach, FL Norton Gallery of Art, 1982. Hardcover Limited First Edition [1982]. First Edition, Limited to 400 copies, of which this is Number 157. Near Fine in Near Fine DJ: Both book and DJ show only minute indications of use. The Book shows a former owner's rather florid gift inscription at the front free endpaper; some foxing at the front and rear endpapers; no appreciable wear, but some faint dusting in spots; the binding shows the slightest lean, but remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows very mild rubbing and the faintest overall soiling to the panels; a small, rather faint soil spot at the rear panel; some scuffing and a short, closed tear at the heel of the back strip; the price is unclipped; mylar-protected. Overall, remains close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 4to. (11.3 x 10.1 x 1 inches). 235 pages. White cloth over boards, titled in red on front cover and spine, tan endpapers. Profusely illustrated in color and b&w with photographs and reproductions of the artist's work. Introduced with Excerpts from critical reviews. Weight: 3 pounds, 12 ounces. Hardback with DJ.
