Hardcover with dustjacket, first American printing as stated on copyright page, "from the first tentative efforts of 1939 to the final, brilliantly planned but ill-starred coup of 1944," book has a mild lean to the spine, the binding remains tight and the contents are fine, the jacket has some edge-wear but is clean, presentable, and features a photo of Count Stauffenberg, the man who planted the bomb at Hitler's headquarters on the rear panel, the original price (4.95) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included .
