Bound in the publisher's brown cloth, with the Crest and Latin motto "Non Incautus Futuri" of Lee family in stamped in blind. The spine is torn, with the upper half missing. The boards have scratches along its edges. Previous owner's name and 1871 date in pencil on a front end paper. Text and plates generally clean, with minor offsetting of the plates. Good. Howes L202. A New Edition, with revisions, and a Biography of the Author, by Robert E. Lee.
