Leather spine, and corners, boards marbled, edges marbled, end pages marbled, corners of all volumes slightly rubbed/chipped; Vol 1 front hinge broken, all other volumes have solid hinges. Book plate from The Library of University Collegem Oxford on the front paste downs, foxing to rear and front of each frontispiecem 1" library stamp to veso of title page, and the end page of text of each volume. Otherwise in very good order for an ex-library set of books. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. XXII, [2 (errata)], 422, [4], XII, 456, [2] pages, XII, 408, [2], VIII, 424, [2] pages. 4-volume set (complete). Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Frontispiece.
