London : Rudolph Ackermann, 1851 Finely bound by Zaehnsdorf in 1912 [signed on front dentelle] in red crushed morocco with gilt decorations, 5 rqised bands 218 pp, covers and spine bound in rear. This with 18 beautiful colored illustrations. This copy with minor wear at the gutters and a trace at the tips. Internally all tissue guards between the plates and facing pages present except for the one between the frontis and first title page. One page has a 1/4" marginal tear. There is a bookplate and owner's deboss on ffep and title page. Otherwise internally near fine.
