About This Item
New York: The Vanguard Press, 1951. First Edition. 4to. 28cm x 21cm. Publisher's black cloth boards. Dustjacket. Titled in gilt to spine and front board, a little dusty here and there, but strong and sharp, in a clean, bright example of the dustjacket, some slight creasing and edgewear, small triangle of loss to the head of the spine and some scuffing to the rear panel with a small tear. A good looking, solid copy with some wear to the jacket. 157pp. Internally clean. A quite prescient dissection of contemporary cultural trends and social mythology that stills holds up pretty well today.[63258].
