Limited Edition #375 of 500, no slipcover. DJ has a few small tape-repaired tears, with spine tanning and wear, and Inner front flap clipped. The cloth-covered boards and book spine in fine shape. The binding is tight, textblock pages clear of marks except for 375 written on "Edition" line. B&W illustrations throughout, some full-page.

This publication is a portion of an uncompleted 1948 operetta described by the author: "… all about a man who …rides penny farthings, tandems, tricycles and racing bikes – and when he dies…he is greeted by a heavenly chorus of bicycle bells."
