Clean green boards with black cloth spine, gold author initials on cover,gold lettering on spine. No fading, bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages and edges are clean with clean green endpapers. No names, writing or marks. 183 pages. Dust jacket is not price clipped (4.50 on front inside flap), one tiny pinhead size chip at top of spine; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A collection of twelve short stories with characters drawn from all ages, all sexes, and several nationalities - stories by Greene that originally appeared in such magazines as "The Saturday Evening Post" and "Playboy.".

Synopsis

Graham Greene (1904-1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the Foreign Office. His many books include The Power and the Glory , The Third Man , Our Man in Havana , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
