Illustrated endpapers. 304pp. including index, bibliography and short biographies of the artists. Very geneously illustrated throughout with 389 illustrations of which 204 are in stunning color and the rest are black and white reproductions and photographs. An eye-opening survey of the full range of "naive" or "self-taught" artists around the world from Europe to Africa, Central America and Haiti. A very tight, clean, fresh, undamaged volume with a discreet prior owner signature on front pastedown in a crisp, sharp, bright dust jacket with a bit of minor edgewear.
