Binding of black quarter cloth over spine, brown paper wrappers, black titles on front cover. Corners of boards worn, spine ends scuffed. Small discoloration area on front near fore edge. Rough cut. Text pages clean, and unmarked, no creasing, toned. Sewn binding is tight & solid. The interior is and clean, unmarked, untorn. Quite a unique little book. A physician who finds a cure for mental and physical ill health in quiet contemplation and physical labor maintains an Inn in the New England countryside--the Master of the Inn. He knew one of his guests earlier in his life--and you'll need to read the book to find out what happens then. A masterful author. 84 pages. 7.5 x 4.75 inches.
