Harcourt, Brace & Company. Very Good+ in Good dust jacket. 1943. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. ; First American Edition of the De Luxe color illustrated edition and of the two titles combined in one volume. Beige cloth cover is bumped and frayed at bottom corners with very faint modest thumbing but bright and in very good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Pages are clean and near pristine. Illustrated in b&w with many color plates. Dust jacket worn, tattered, and torn with light soiling but bright and in good condition. DJ price clipped. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover. We add mylar covers to all books with DJs to preserve the DJs and add luster to magnify their beauty. (If pictured, shown without the mylar cover for an accurate representation of dust jacket. ) .
