Some loss and fraying on spine. Binding shaken, light peach endpapers are split. Binding shaken. Damp stained on bottom edge starting around page 180 and grows. Some marginal soiling. Footnote on page 19; Footnote not repeated on page 20; page 299 From Hospital Days not present. Mixed state first edition.
