Henty, with illustrations. A first edition, first impression copy as stated in the G. A. Henty Bibliography by Peter Newbolt, the date only appeared on the first edition. George Alfred Henty was an English novelist and war correspondent most known of his work of adventure fiction and historical fiction. This historical novel is set during the later half of the fourteenth century and the first half of the fifteenth century and is a story of Wat Tyler's insurrection. With eight illustrations by W. H. Margetson.Collated, complete. With the thirty two page catalogue to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Some fading to the spine and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good Indeed
