There is a large photo of author John Heinmuller in the front section of this classic book. The book contains black and white photos, illustrations, and history of American aviation history. From Foreword by Rickebacker "It has been my good fortune to know Hohn P. V. Heinmuller, President of the Longines-Wittnauer Watch Company, as a friend for many years past. The same statement, I am sure can be made by every one of the long list of pioneering pilots and navigators during the nard and trying years of aviation infancy.
