A study of the vigilante process past and present, with more than 50 documents comprising a living record of vigilantism. Signed presentation from Caughey on the front endpaper, to the chancellor of his university: "To Vern Knudsen with warmest regards, here's a bit of revisionist history, harvested during your chancellorship. John Caughey." Knudsen was the Chancellor of UCLA from 1959 to 1960, while Caughey was a professor there and when this book was published. A nice association copy! Near fine; little edgewear d/j. $85.00.
