Documents the private archive of Mario A. Canale (b. Argentina) that explores Argentinean art from the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Much of the material has not been published and is rich in visual imagery including: photographs of the period, prints, drawing, water color, and publications. Some of the prominent figures include: Eduardo Sivori, Godofredo Daireaux, Alfonso Bosco, (all three who were master teachers of Canale), Eduardo Schiaffino, Martin Halharro, Walter de Navazio and many others. El archivo de Mario A. Canale es una importante fuente para el estudio del arte argentino desde fines del siglo XIX hasta mediados del siglo XX. Este libro presenta varios aspectos del archivo a partir de la vida de figuras como Mario Canale, Eduardo Sívori, Eduardo Schiaffino, Marín Malharro y muchos otros.
