Gold coloured end pages. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs. Orange coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Photographic dustwrapper with gold and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Madison Square Garden has, for over 100 years, been host to sporting moments, music moments and other events (think dog shows and horse shows e.g.). In this book the contributors, and the editor, give the history of an old railway shed that was turned into Madison Square Garden. A little rubbing of the book corners and backstrip edges. Age toning of the textblock edges and pages with some foxing to the top text edge. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels and there is a little foxing to the verso. Full Number Line.
