Hardcover edition with dust jacket, published by Dutton, 1945. This is a book club edition. From the author of 'Sweet Thames Run Softly, a travel memoir of the area in and around the Lee river in Ireland. Engravings by the author. 256 pages, 6" X 8-1/2". The dust jacket is intact and has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Jacket shows edge wear, shallow chips at the head and heel of the spine and tips of the corners, clear tape had been applied to a few areas on the edges, and some sun fading to the spine panel - though all lettering on the spine is entirely legible, just faded. Green cloth covered boards, corners are not bumped, top and bottom edges have some masking tape bits from where the jacket had been taped to the boards. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. A couple dots of age tanning to the edge of the text block. Not a library discard copy. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
