Two Volumes. 8vo. 318pp., 316pp. Beautiful reprint bound in three-quarter polished black calf over marbled paper-covered boards. Five raised bands, six compartments with decorations and titles in gilt. t.e.g. marbled end-papers. Tissue-guarded frontis portrait in each volume as well as many additional illustrations throughout. Square, tight and clean throughout with no foxing. Mild wear to edges and tips. Some crinkling to the spine in volume II. Short gift inscription in each volume on the front free end-paper. Bright gilt and no toning to spine. Very well-preserved. A very pretty collectable copy uncommonly bound.

Lorna Doone: A Romance of Exmoor is a novel by Richard Doddridge Blackmore. It is a romance based on a group of historical characters and set in the late 17th century in Devon and Somerset.
