About This Item
Chapman & Hall, London, 1953. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Poor/Poor. 287 pages (complete). Ex-library copy with consequent residue, debris, marks, labels, annotations, stamps and wear and usage. Dutton was, and is still, considered one of Australia's greatest writers of poetry and prose. This copy of his book about his overland journey back to Australia from Britain, is in poor, resolute repair. The cover is worn, torn, creased, grubby - but is nonetheless secure and resolute. The boards are worn but firm. Within, the pages have had much contented readership. The pages are relaxed, worn, a little marked, calm, clear, comfortable. fk.
