Small, Maynard & Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1899. Second Edition. Hardcover. Second edition (1900/1901). heavily foxed and discolored tan boards with green adn black designs/titles. Spine especially heavily browned. Not musty or infected, but some pages discolored. Bookplate inside front cover., hinges show threads but fully intact. A very solid copy of an interesting work with fantastic b/w line drawings of all manner of wildlife. .
